Stichting Mind and Life is a foundation governed by the laws of the Netherlands, having its registered seat in the municipality of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and its office address at Fongersplaats 43, 9725 LC Groningen, the Netherlands.
Stichting Mind and Life is registered on the Commercial Register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK number: 67382908), and with the Dutch tax authorities (RSIN: 856959947).
As of 1st November 2024, Stichting Mind and Life is also registered as an Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI) – Institution for Public Benefit – meaning that people from the Netherlands wishing to offer a donation to Stichting Mind and Life do not need to pay inheritance tax or gift tax, and may deduct their gifts or donations from their (corporate) income tax. Chairperson
Amy Cohen Varela is Chairperson of the Stichting Mind and Life Board. She is also a clinical psychologist specialized in psychodynamic therapy and philosophy.
Gábor Karsai
Secretary and Treasurer
Gábor Karsai, based near Budapest, Hungary, is Secretary and Treasurer of Stichting Mind and Life, and presently serves as Rector of the Dharma Gate Buddhist College in Budapest, as well as Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies.
